Serving Our Community with Purpose, Compassion, and Impact
Outreach at New Bethel Baptist Church is how we live out the Gospel beyond Sunday. Through intentional community outreach, strategic partnerships, and volunteer engagement, we serve families, restore dignity, and meet real needs across our city and beyond. Our goal is to serve our neighbors with compassion while creating meaningful, measurable impact that reflects the heart of the early Church in today’s world.

Empowering believers to integrate faith and vocation through entrepreneurship, workplace influence, vocational training, and business engagement.

Outreach
Serving our neighbors through coordinated events, partnerships, and visible acts of compassion that open doors to spiritual transformation.
Season of Giving
Through our annual Season of Giving Campaign, New Bethel raised more than $20,000 to support families during the holidays — serving nearly 500 families across our community.
Support included:
- Gift cards for families and furloughed federal employees
- Supplemental food assistance
- Thanksgiving turkey distribution
- Community Christmas Party & Toy Store
This generosity created moments of real relief, stability, and hope.
Thanksgiving Outreach
During Thanksgiving outreach, New Bethel served 120 households, including families connected to local schools.
Each family received:
- Fresh turkeys
- Fresh produce (in partnership with United Healthcare)
- Grocery store gift cards
Our school-based outreach model allows us to support families in trusted, familiar spaces.
Christmas Outreach
Our Community Christmas Party & Toy Store served more than 350 children and their families, creating a joyful, family-centered experience. Families were invited to shop for gifts at no cost, enjoy holiday activities, movies, and crafts, and receive meaningful resources in a welcoming environment
Total Impact Included:
- 600 brand-new toys and gifts
- 250 backpacks and school supply kits
- Bikes, scooters, tablets, and premium toys
- Gift cards and full gift-wrapping services
The estimated value of goods and support exceeded $24,000.

Our external engagements are empowered by volunteers and community partners. Volunteers support things like event setup and execution, hospitality opportunities, organization visits, and more.
